Prior to his consulting, Dr. Beard was at First Data Corporation, serving as Senior Vice President in charge of the FD Sales Institute, Merger Integration and Organization and Leadership. Dr. Beard was a Senior Consultant and Merger Integration Practice Leader for RHR International. Dr. Beard is a licensed psychologist.
He has been a consultant to many major companies including Hewlett Packard, Compaq Computer Corp, First Data Corp in case-based merger integration training; facilitated merger integration teams for Wells Fargo and Norwest banks; and the Gates Corporation in new product innovation. Dr. Boyd is a keynote speaker and workshop leader for companies in areas of merger integration, creating innovation-based entrepreneurial organizations, and major customer relationships.
Her specialties include: integration strategy, planning and readiness, integration team readiness, templates and training, new hire orientation activities, integration program management, and international integration. Her background includes VP of Integration for Oracle Corporation. She has managed over 40 acquisitions, carve-outs and divestitures.
