Merger Managers is a
team of multi-talented executives and
consultants who have extensive experience in the merger and acquisition
integration field. Merger Managers grew out of the realization that
companies that are involved in or are considering a merger or acquisition
are ill-equipped to manage the integration process from within, and even
when they turn to the costly services of the larger consulting firms, the
overwhelming majority of acquisitions will be considered failures.
Merger Managers believes that a successful integration is possible, but that
the key to integration success is being educated and prepared in advance. To
address this need, Merger Managers developed a simple step-by-step process
to teach the business community what they need to know in order to
successfully manage the post-merger integration. Rather than limiting the
availability of this information to a select few, Merger Managers decided to
make this process available in the form of
intensive two- and three-day training boot camps. |

integration consulting community, we were amazed at how traditional
consulting firms consistently offer unnecessarily prolonged and
cost-prohibitive consulting engagements. As a matter of fact, you will find

Our philosophy is that there is no reason that the M&A integration process

 Stacey Fix Conti is CEO and co-founder of Merger Managers, LLC. She brings almost 20 years of operations, merger and integration experience to her company, which specializes in assisting companies, such as, First Data Corp, Salesforce.com, SpectraLink, Vimplecom, and Bank of America in the creation of standard and scalable merger integration processes. Her specialties include: integration strategy, planning and readiness, integration team readiness, templates and training, new hire orientation activities, integration program management, and international integration. Her background includes VP of Integration for Oracle Corporation. She has managed over 40 acquisitions, carve-outs and divestitures. Prior to her work in integration she ran operations for an applications division of Oracle and negotiated multi-million dollar deals. Fix Conti coaches executives in value creation through her training and consulting services. |

 Dr. Beard is a consultant for Beard Executive Consulting. He has over 20 years experience working with and in major corporations. His focus has been helping executives enhance their performance and the performance of their team. In addition, he has expertise in the area of business and merger integration. He has been involved in coordinating or running over 10 merger integrations. Prior to his consulting, Dr. Beard was at First Data Corporation, serving as Senior Vice President in charge of the FD Sales Institute, Merger Integration and Organization and Leadership Development. Dr. Beard was a Senior Consultant and Merger Integration Practice Leader for RHR International. Dr. Beard is a licensed psychologist. |

 LaRue Boyd held the Walter Koch Endowed Chair in Business Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, a member of the faculty for 25 years, and Vice-Chancellor of the University 1991-96. He has been a consultant to many major companies including Hewlett Packard, Compaq Computer Corporation; First Data Corp in case-based merger integration training; facilitated merger integration teams for Wells Fargo and Norwest banks; and the Gates Corporation in new product innovation. Dr. Boyd is a keynote speaker for major companies in the areas of merger integration, creating innovation-based entrepreneurial organizations, and major customer relationships.

 Robert Janowitz specializes in the
Information Technology aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Janowitz has
over 15 years of extensive experience supporting and designing IT business
systems and is exceptionally skilled in the areas of business requirement
analysis, data and process flow analysis, system architecture, system
programming, system administration, data base administration, and network
engineering.
Prior to joining Merger Managers, Janowitz held the position of Senior
Director of Systems Integration at Oracle Corporation. During his time at
Oracle, Janowitz was responsible for planning and managing all aspects of IT
integration for over 20 Oracle acquisitions. He developed standardized
processes and tools to manage the IT integration process and was personally
involved in overseeing all IT acquisition integration issues from the due
diligence phase through post-close.
Janowitz had the auspicious opportunity to begin his career working at the
Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, providing mission
critical support for the Voyager I and Voyager II spacecrafts. This
experience led him to Xerox Corporation, where, for the next several years,
he gained a broad range of IT experience supporting business systems. |
